Recruitment Process

Application process:

Online application

Submit your application online with your cover letter, resumé, academic transcript and proof of Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

Note: You will be able to select two role preferences in your application, so you don’t need to apply twice!

Tip! Make sure your CV is up to date with your latest achievements, we don’t want to miss out on knowing all about you and what you have to offer!

Online assessment

If you are successful, you’ll be notified via email to complete an online gamified assessment. This part of the process is intended to assess your logical aptitude and fit for DXC.

Tip! Set some time for yourself to go through some practice online assessments. Find a quiet space to avoid or limit distractions.

Video Interview

We want to get to know you! In this stage, one of our friendly recruiters will arrange to connect with you over a short 15-minute video interview.

To progress to the next stage, we’ll be taking into consideration your:

  1. Resumé and cover letter
  2. Academic studies
  3. Interview notes

Tip! Practice makes perfect! Do some practice interviews with your family and friends, and get constructive feedback on how you can improve.

Assessment centre

Successful candidates will be invited to attend our Assessment Centre. This is an opportunity for you to get to know us, learn more about the role and meet some of our business leaders. Take the opportunity to ask questions and get to know the DXC team.

Note: Follow-up interviews after the assessment centre may be required for some roles.

The assessment centre is generally conducted in the following way:

  • A group activity – this is a chance to network with your peers and put your great minds together to conceptualise some awesome ideas!
  • 1 on 1 interview with a member from your potential team – we want to get to know you and what interests you.
  • A written activity – there is no pre-work to be done for this, we just want to see you in action.

Tip! Just be yourself and let your personality shine.

Congratulations! You are now part of the team. Once you have received your formal offer, we will send you a welcome pack to help you prepare for your induction where you will have the opportunity to meet your fellow graduates and senior leaders.

If you haven’t heard anything yet, that means your application is still being considered. Good luck!
