What Graduates Say About Them
  • I have been given lots of flexibility on how to approach my projects/tasks, this offers great learning experience that I'm allowed to work autonomously instead of being micromanaged all the time.
  • Flexible work hours, as long as you complete the requisite hours required. 9 day fortnight work weeks are handy Rotations around different departments allowing good business insight into the various business activities Good work culture - someone is always willing to lend a hand Variety of task - the various departments have variety so you will never get bored Challenging - there is a lot of opportunities for the organisation as we transition to a new ERP system, there are a lot of new challenges to over come
  • 1. Flexible start and finish times 2. Get to work on boats - depending on task 3. Challenging tasks 4. Over 30 years of experience 5. Undergoing digital transformation so plenty of opportunity to grow and progress
  • Opportunity to learn and work with some of the best in the Ship Building Industry.
  • Facilities are pretty old. The nature of "winning contracts to stay employed" is a bit scary. So Job security is an issue especially when you have a mortgage.
  • The area of improvement would be the information of induction could have been structured better. There was a few confusing moments at the beginning due to lack of information provided.
  • Communication gaps between different departments. Therefore, it’s a struggle to find documents and lessons on previous projects. Data management and engagement are the weak point but company is already working to improve them.
  • Only now transitioning into contemporary digital solutions. Spreadsheets.
  • Could be overwhelming at times with some of the expectations.
