I havent had the opportunity to experience this as I am still a grad however it appears that there are opportunities for development.
Maternity and paternity leave I know to be really good (not that I have experienced it). Diversity is ok culture-wise. Helps when we have a Spanish parent company so there is a mix of nationalities.
Ensuring progress on site as per the drawings. Tracking costs, procurement of hire items and consumables, completing quality documentation. Space-proofing and quantity takeoff calculations.
Yes. My SPE and PM are very approachable and show genuine interest and care about me. They are great mentors and I am learning both technical and soft skills.
A great example is contracts administration. This may be targeted at SE's, PE's and above but I was given the opportunity to learn about this. Another good example is the refresher training course we undertook for company systems and processes.
Company is very flexible but largely because it is construction hours so we are working for a long time anyway. Start at 6.30 and usually leave around 5 or 5.30
