The Story of Vestas Australia

Vestas' core business consists of the planning, development, and sale of wind technology that uses the energy of the wind to generate electricity. Their expertise in wind energy is based on 25 years of experience that includes more than just wind turbines, but also everything from site studies to service and maintenance.

Today, Vestas has the widest serially-produced range of turbines in the wind power industry. Their turbine range consists of eight turbine types, from the V52-850 kW turbine to the V164-7.0 MW turbine, which are each tailored to different segments and wind regimes.

They have already installed more than 46,000 wind turbines in 88 countries around the world. A new turbine is being installed every 3 hours, saving the world from over 40 million tons of CO2 every year. This makes them an industry leader in terms of quality and performance of their product, but also when it comes to environmental responsibility.
