Pros & Cons

  • The vibe is good and the people are lovely - we also do some cool work.
  • The people in the company are very friendly, supportive and helpful.
  • Extremely friendly and flexible working environment. Great team of senior engineers always willing to help me and encourage me to develop skills in multiple areas.
  • As I am new here, the welcoming and supportive environment has been the best thing so far, along with the positive workplace culture.
  • The independence and accountability for your own work. You are given opportunities to challenge yourself and undertake learning yourself. Technically challenging and unique work with lots of opportunities to learn.
  • The graduate program was not structured as much, we worked on which ever scope that need people to do.
  • Never had a bad experience with this company.
  • Slow computer/VPN when working from home.
  • I have no complaints regarding working at T.EN so far.
  • Lack of structure in the graduate program.

Career Prospects
As a graduate I felt challenged enough especially having to deal with high level professionals in my day to day work. I do you like to work on a whole project from beginning to end so that I can have a feel of what a typical project cycle is like. Career progression - changes in this company happen very slowly so cannot expect things to happen instantly

Corporate Social Responsibility
There are lots of committees and opportunities to be involved. They encourage Grads to be involved in these committees and help work towards sustainability, the RAP/ local communities engagement, inclusion and diversity etc. Then at a global there is lots of work (mainly Italy and France) towards our global ESG goals.

Culture

Culture
Within the Mechanical team, part of the graduate group and part of T.EN as a whole, the culture is positive with great teamwork and cooperation. I find it is very easy here to engage and socialise with the majority of staff members no matter their role or position in the company.

Diversity

Diversity
There are lots of people from the other international operating centers and you are constantly working with a global team. More and more women are joining the team and there are quite a few women in senior leadership positions. But there is not many LGBTIQQ+ people here.

My direct manager is very accessible and helpful as he sits in close proximity to my workstation, plus is readily available on teams if not around. Management communicates well and gives recognition when it is due.

There is really good flexibility as long as you are doing the work that needs to be done, then managers are happy to work with you on hours. Appointments are usually no issue and it was great when I was house hunting to be able to go when I needed to go to viewings.

Yes, we try our best to reduce the Environmental impact. For example, we reduce the amount of spares that may go to waste we calculate it and estimate it better.
