Like anywhere this will depend on the person. There is a large pool of really great managers at AEMO, and I've had great experience with most of them. Some have been really great mentors to me, and across the board they've all had my health and interests as their primary interest. Higher up the chain where there is more responsibility to a wider group of stakeholders, there may be more criticism of management.
