strong focus on public accountability and ethics with regular training, reputation is critical on major public projects. There are mandatory levels of investment the project must meet in procuring materials and engaging local companies or companies with a strong social benefit e.g. Aboriginal businesses and businesses that give opportunities to migrants. Contractors will typically go above and beyond these required levels of investment as well - it's not just a box-ticking exercise.
