Please describe the interview process and assessments.
3 interviews 1. Online assessment 2. Interview 3. Situational/comprehensive interview
Intern, Sydney
The first stage was a personal questionnaire, resume and cover letter. This was followed by an aptitude test. Then, you undertake a short screening interview that lasts approximately 30 minutes and gives you the opportunity to ask questions about the company and the role you are applying for. The final stage is a panel interview that lasts approximately 60-75 minutes. You will be asked a range of behavioural and problem-solving questions, and will be invited to ask questions to the panel in return.

I had to complete online testing first. Afterwards, I had 3 interviews I had to attend before I got offered the job.

You have to do testing first, and then a screening interview. After the screening interview, I did a panel interview with 3 senior directors at P&G which took about 1.5 hours

Assessments - these were not easy Individual interview - I gained a great insight into what it is like to work for the company and answer lots of questions. Panel interview - challenging but I also gained a good insight into the type of work I would engage in and the company's culture

Assessment - tricky Individual interview - gained insight into the company and it's culture and saw if I was a fit Panel interview - more challenging, probed a lot

What questions were you asked in your interviews?
You will be asked a range of behavioural questions that look at how you would respond to certain situations - particularly involving conflict, your strengths or times you have had to innovate or change your way of doing something. Problem solving questions will also be asked, where you can show your method of analysing and approaching business-related problems that may arise.

"Tell me a situation when"... - You took initiative - You lead a project and it didn't succeed

Do you have any specific tips and advice for candidates applying to your company? How would you recommend they best prepare?
Be yourself, think about when was the last time you did something innovative.
Intern, Sydney
Always prepare prior to any interviews and ensure you have thought about questions you wish to ask. If you are stuck on a question you are asked, feel free to ask the interviewer to repeat or allow you to have a short moment to consider your answer.
Intern, Melbourne
Study the company and know the role very well. I'd also recommend thinking of scenarios where you have shown the company values in different situations at school, uni, work, etc.
Graduate, Sydney
Prepare a couple of scenarios as they ask some situational questions.

Do not lie in your STAR responses as interviewers will ask follow up questions
Graduate, Sydney
The interviewers seemed to care more about my experiences than nitty gritty Finance examples which was interesting. To best prepare, have a couple of scenarios in the back of your mind for the interview.
