Culture at Nova Systems

9.1
9.1 rating for Culture, based on 32 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
The management hierarchy at Nova is designed to be approachable and promote personal development plans. Everyone working here are friendly and happy to help others or just have a chat. Nova encourages a realistic work/life balance and provide resources and services to help manage that.

Everyone is very friendly, there is no anxiety about being social or friendly with your coworkers, people are approachable and there is no overcomplication or formality in interactions. The office environment tends to be very quiet and sparsely attended. There is hardly any interaction between coworkers outside/after work, which is a shame.

The company culture is very open and welcoming in and out of office hours, there is plenty of opportunity to socialise with co-workers at all levels of the business, and management makes themselves accessible to help overcome problems, or provide feedback or advice as needed.

The culture at Nova Systems is the best I've ever experienced. within my first few days working at Nova System the entire company was flown to Adelaide for the annual conference, which was an informal way to get to meet everyone. Culture is a very important metric for Nova Systems. In my Melbourne Office we have regular monthly lunches, after work activities and other social events. The graduate program also has its own social events as well. Nova System does seem to reward long-standing employees with senior roles and leadership roles, regardless of whether it is deserving of not.

Whilst there are management and leaders, they never feel unapproachable. Which is something I value, I feel like I can talk to anyone regardless of position within the company. There are plenty of social activities and everyone is always welcoming people to join.

I feel like there's a constant outreach of support being given to us, as grads even more so. To make the most of it, you have to attend events and lunches which really helps. From past experiences, the support you'd get would just be project or site related, but to see the company/office get involved in building a culture is different and warming.

Excellent culture, everyone is easy going and willing to help where able to. The more experienced people are always willing to sit and explain a process or concept to allow those with less experience to develop understanding. All the Managers have an open door policy, always willing to listen and help with any situation you are in, the first company I have been at where this is the case. Outside of work the younger members of the o_ce are tight knit with weekly trivia and group chats to check in on each other and make sure everything is going well. The attendance at work events is usually very high and everyone enjoys each other's company, having a good time at organised events.

Grads are encouraged to social outside of work, and it is funded by the graduate program. The culture within the office is great, colleagues are very supported of each other.

Nova's culture is fantastic. Lots of support and encouragement regarding work-life balance. Frequent social events to bring up morale and allow everyone the opportunity to be a part of a community, not just a company.

In office culture is great, however I don't get to be involved as much as I would like as I have to work on client site. After hours is a lot of fun and socially, everyone from senior leadership to interns generally feels equal and approachable. Teams are generally open to collaboration, and leadership are very supportive in career development and teaching skills at the task level.

Great office culture during social events eg. (lunch-of-the-month, afternoon tea, regional events). All colleagues, regardless of their position are very approachable. Great water-cooler conversations in the kitchen during the day.

Nova System's culture is unmatched in the industry. Nova has many great support programs in place, both for professional development and wellbeing. The office culture invites a friendly, open atmosphere, as many events and get-togethers are held routinely. Each office holds an annual mid-year party, Christmas party, and regional activity/get-away. The company also comes together once a year for a ~3 day conference where we can enjoy networking with our peers, learning about different parts of the business, before celebrating on the final day.

Culture is good. It's quite easy to approach and talk to anyone. Everyone seems like they have the time of day to listen, help and answer questions. socialising is good and easy. There are colleagues and line managers as well as executive group members present in the office, all of which, have time and smiles if you have questions and require assistance. there are plenty of after hours social activities that are open to all and easy to participate in.

In the office, the culture amongst colleagues is very positive and inclusive of each other. Everyone is very friendly no matter how long they have been with Nova and happy for a chat regardless of their position in the company. Outside of office hours, in my experience socialising has been very friendly, inclusive and healthy.

The culture is great, no matter where we are and what we are doing. Anyone you talk to will treat you as an equal, no matter what their role is. Many of the senior staff are very happy to help the juniors, and many act as mentors, both officially and unofficially. The majority of people at the company are sociable and attend the monthly meetings. After hour events are always great. There are always so many people to talk to, and everyone is positive, happy and down-to-earth.

Company culture in Nova office is very welcoming, everyone is friendly and happy to socialise which makes it very enjoyable to come into the office even if your work is independent. This in office attitude is championed by the leaders which I believe makes the most impacts. Same applies with my client office

The company have a lot of good cultural elements. There are social events that are used to bring people together. Each office has it's own way of doing things. The hierarchy is there but everyone is approachable.
