Diversity at Northrop Grumman Australia

9.0
9.0 rating for Diversity, based on 5 reviews
Please provide further information on diversity with respect to women, ethnic minorities and LGBT. Please comment on issues such as recruitment, retention, promotion, child care, maternity leave, etc.
There is definitely no explicit bias, and in terms of maternity leave and child care they are really good. As far as I am aware, they operate more on merit basis for recruitment, and will try and pick the best person for the job regardless of gender or background.
I can only comment to my team, but there is a great commitment to diversity and ensuring that a job is filled by the best person for the job rather than personal interests. Furthermore, the inclusivity aspect of the project has ensured that people with child care, maternity leave, phycological issues have all been met with maturity and understanding.
Northrop Grumman are committed to increasing diversity amongst the workforce with respect to women. They have a good parental leave scheme that offers a generous amount of leave to primary and secondary carers in addition to government parental leave.
