Gender Equality at Essential Energy

Essential Energy is committed to developing equal opportunities for females within the organisation, with a specific focus on improving female representation in non-traditional and leadership roles. We've partnered with the National Association of Women in Operations (NAWO), with employees encouraged to undertake professional development opportunities provided by NAWO. Whilst our Women from the Field Program is focused on creating an empowered and inclusive environment and support sustainable career pathways for Women at Essential Energy and is designed to foster supportive relationships and actively encourage employees to identify and realise their professional goals. 

Our gender working group exists to unlock and grow the potential of women in our workplace and our communities by promoting an inclusive environment where women are empowered and supported. White Ribbon Day and International Women’s Day are important events in the Essential Energy corporate calendar, with events held to educate and create awareness around these important topics, supporting women, whilst encouraging men in the organisation to lead by example as allies for gender equality.
