Our Indigenous strategy reflects who we are as a firm and how we want to participate in the nation's future.

Our vision is to have a leadership team and workforce that reflects a diverse Australia. This requires us to move beyond celebrating culture to understand better the experiences of our people from racially and culturally diverse backgrounds to inform and activate our way forward.

Change begins with the courage to start. It’s about understanding and removing barriers and creating spaces where we can show up and speak up. This is why the voices and experiences of our diverse community are at the heart of Deloitte Australia's Race and Culture Action Plan, and our ongoing commitment to Australia’s First Nations people with our Reconciliation Action Plan.

In 2023, Deloitte Australia confirmed its public support for a First Nations Voice to Parliament. Our commitment is to provide opportunities for our people to deepen their understanding of the relevant issues and the context, perspectives, and culture of Australia's First Nations people. We will continue to affirm the spirit and intent of the Uluru Statement From the Heart, no matter the referendum's outcome.
