What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
I think it is one of the best pays for graduate programs out there, and I was very satisfied.
Graduate, Canberra
I think the pay is fair, I think the EBA process is constructive, but there are circumstances where it isn't enough to draw in the skills and expertise that we need.

As a Grad, I am chuffed with the pay. Though EBA deal was pretty ordinary

More than satisfied.

The pay in the ACT PS for a graduate is one of the best in the country.

The EBA agreement has been approve and we get the pay rise and back pay which is fantastic. The pay is good in the ACT Government.

Graduate pay, although the best in the country, is still pretty poor to live in Canberra. I don't have many thoughts on this. I make do. I don't really care about pay. I can live at this stage so that's okay, of course I would care for a little more in the back pocket. Sometimes I'm pay packet to pay packet.

The pay is relatively high compared to other graduate programs, but it does not quite align with cost-of-living pressures. The flex time is very good, but the bonuses are an unknown at this point.
Graduate, Canberra
Pay is good however it is disappointing that pay does not meet the rate of inflation. Other than that, the pay with ACT government is pretty good. Bonuses are nonexistent though.

Pay is great. There's health and wellbeing bonuses, disability leave etc.
Graduate, Canberra
The pay is good but the cost of living in Canberra can be difficult to manage.
Graduate, Canberra
While pay is good for someone coming straight out of university, it is poor for people changing careers, people with families, and people trying to rebuild themselves after raising a family.

What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
I think it was amazing that the graduate program provided re-imbursement for moving costs and plane tickets. For me especially coming from the other side of the country, it would have been a very costly experience otherwise. However, I would recommend looking into ways to re-imburse people sooner, as I was out of pocket a significant amount of money for 3 months, which was very difficult.

The flexibility is a great perk. The comfort that some teams have in taking the occasional team lunch or other social event is nice. The $100 lifestyle/exercise bonus is also helpful

Donating blood counts as time at work.
Graduate, Canberra
None of the above.

flexible working mode

Generous leave policies. Flex leave is fantastic and there are many different types of leave to cover certain reasons, such as leave specifically for representative sport, which is great for me as an athlete.
Graduate, Canberra
After the end of each rotation the team has done the farewell team lunch.
Graduate, Canberra
Don't know about any. Leave policies are OK I suppose. Moving expenses was something that attracted me, but it was incredibly difficult to access and turned out I wasn't entitled to something for some silly administrative reason.
Graduate, Canberra
Not sure at this point apart from Employee Assistance Package.
Graduate, Canberra
Unfortunately no perks like that exist. However we have perks such as flex time, hybrid location working and occasional events for cultural learning and mental health awareness.
Graduate, Canberra
There are a wide variety of different leave types available to employees. ACT Government employees also get discounted gym membership with Club Lime, and can be reimbursed for some health and wellbeing activities (for example if you join a sports team, buy exercise equipment etc.)
Graduate, Canberra
Health and wellbeing bonus for things like a pilates class, sneakers etc. (100); moving expenses covered, generous leave policies, a lot of co-working spaces in the city, super progressive enterprise agreements
Graduate, Canberra
The very initial support is good but there is little to none afterwards.
Graduate, Canberra
There are no perks that I know of.
