Your role

Your program will start with onboarding in your home business area. The following month, the program kicks off with a week-long induction program at ABB Australia's corporate headquarters in Zurich. There, you will meet your fellow colleagues in the program and network with senior leaders, while building your support group.

You will participate in three assignments:

  • One six-month assignment in your home country as an introduction to your function (Finance, Information Systems) within the business.
  • One six-month assignment abroad to get an overview of ABB Australia's operations in a different environment/role and work on an exciting assignment with a different team, expanding your network.
  • One six to 12-month assignment in your home country/business area, deepening your knowledge of the business and of your function, including the operations, strengthening your technical and soft skills.

During the last assignment participants will meet in Zurich, Switzerland for a week of training focused on leadership competencies development. All program training are meant to build the foundations of your future career evolution. This will also be the time when the participants start to look for their final position, to be started after the end of the program. They recommend that this position is in your home country's organization.
